Farm Home School provides educational services to middle and high school-aged clients residing at the Trillium Family Services Corvallis campus, a residential mental health treatment facility.
Our Educational Program
Students attend classes Monday through Friday, September through June, with an average class size of 16 or fewer pupils. Teachers deliver:
- Individualized and small group instruction
- Standard curriculum across core content areas
- Varied online and computer-based programs
- Opportunity for credit recovery
Trillium staff members serve as coaches in each classroom during the school day.
Tailored by Living Unit
Classes are tailored to meet students’ specific needs based on their living unit:
Redwood and Sequoia Students
- Receive self-contained instruction
- Focus on core subjects and credit recovery
Powers and Cummings Students
- Attend classes in the Farm Home School buildings
- Middle school students receive self-contained classroom instruction
- High school students attend content area courses with credit recovery options
High School Program
Farm Home School is an accredited high school (grades 9-12). Students earn credits by:
- Attending regularly
- Participating in coursework
- Completing requirements with passing grades (A-D)
- Credits are posted to transcripts upon course completion
GED Option Program
For eligible students, a GED Option Program is available with GED preparation classes. Requirements include:
- Age 16 or older
- 8th grade academic skill level or higher
- Insufficient credits to graduate with cohort
- Support from treatment/IEP team
