At Linn Benton Lincoln ESD, we understand the unique communication and educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Our Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) Program provides comprehensive services and support to help these students overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
Eligibility for Services
To qualify for the LBL ESD Cascade Regional DHH Program, students must reside in Linn, Benton, or Lincoln counties and meet the following state requirements:
- Have hearing thresholds of 25 dBHL or greater in at least one ear at specific frequencies
- Have a hearing loss due to auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD) or aural microtia/atresia
- Demonstrate that the hearing loss adversely impacts their educational performance or developmental progress

Our team of experienced DHH Teachers offers a range of services to support students from birth to 21 years old, including:
