What is BSAT?

Behavioral Safety Assessment of Threat is a violence prevention strategy that involves the identification of a situation that may pose a risk to safety, the determination of a threat’s seriousness, and the development of intervention plans that protect potential victims and address the underlying problem or conflict that stimulated the threatening behavior.

By considering context and circumstances surrounding potential threatening behavior, teams can evaluate and develop interventions and supports designed to manage and reduce risk.

This 2 hour training is targeted for School Administrators, School Counselors, and school and community agency leaders.
