Farm Home School is an accredited K-12 school program serving students in residence at the Children's Farm Home. The Farm Home School is part of the Linn Benton Lincoln Education Service District (LBL) which provides specialized educational services to students either directly or through school districts.

Students attend school from 9 a.m. - 3:10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. from August 1 to June 30. Classes at North Point follow a regular elementary school model with basic instruction in reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Classes in Powers and Cummings are self-contained classes with instruction in core content areas and opportunities for credit recovery. Students in Mallett, Frances Elizabeth (FE) and Cummings (afternoon) attend classes in the Farm Home School buildings located in the northwest part of the main campus.
There are a maximum of 16 students enrolled in each class. Teachers use direct, small group, and individual instruction with standard curriculum and a variety of online and computer-based programs. School enrollment forms are completed as a part of the intake process to Children's Farm Home.

There are seven certified teachers and seven educational assistants at Farm Home School. The adult-to-student ratio varies, but never exceeds 8:1. Cottage staff also act as coaches during the school day in each classroom, reducing the adult-to-student ratio.
General academic program provides course offerings in all core academic areas as well as a variety of electives. Students obtain standard high school credit and may work towards a diploma or GED.
